VASTU SHASTRA FOR HOME ENTRANCE :

According to Vastu Shastra for home arrangement, the main entrance door of the house is the entry point of energy for the family.

The main gate design should be preferably in the North, East or North-East direction.

The main gate design for house is considered as "the archway gate for victory and progress in life", the main gate should be in the north, east or north-east direction. It should be constructed in such a way that when you come out, you should face north, east or north-east direction.

The main door design of your house should be constructed of superior quality wood. It should look more attractive than other doors in your house.

Avoid placing a fountain, or any other decorative water-concentrating element, outside the main entrance door.

Avoid placing shoe racks or dustbins outside the main door as per vastu.

Heavy weight furniture should be placed in the south-west or west direction of the living room.

All electronics and appliances should be installed in the south-east part of the living room

If the room has a mirror, it should be placed on the north wall.

According to Vastu Shastra, always keep the stairs of the house in the south-west,south or west direction. It is considered good to have stairs in this direction. The number of steps of stairs in a house or building should always be odd like 11,17,23 etc. Do not keep the kitchen, bathroom or fish-aquarium under the stairs. Care should also be taken that there should not be anything related to water under the stairs.

 VASTU NOTE :

1. Fountain Aquarium Dustbin Shoes Slippers should not be kept under the stairs.
2. Stairs should not start with triangle stairs.
3. The stairs should never be made in front of the main entrance of the house.
4. Red, black and blue should not be used in stairs. 
5. The stairs in the house or building should never be constructed in the north-east.
6. If the kitchen room is in the south direction then the hearth should be facing east.
7. The stove should not be under the window or shelf in the kitchen.
8. The kitchen window should be in the east direction.
